11am  - All bars open

11am - Chicken turn in (FBA Table at business entrance)

11:45am - Chili turn in for judges (Host hospitality tent)

Noon - Pork ribs turn in (FBA Table at business entrance)

There's nothing better than finger lickin' BBQ! Come compete in the Firefighters Charity BBQ Contest at Gator Harley   We are accepting cooking teams, vendors, and sponsors. 

 

3 cooking categories to compete in:

Chicken, Ribs, & Butts


Prizes in each category:

1st Place - $300 + trophy

2nd Place - $200 + trophy

3rd Place - $100 + trophy

4th Place - $ 75 + banner

5th Place - $ 50 + banner

6th Place - $ 25 + banner

7th Place - banner/medal

Grand Prize of $500 + trophy

Grand Reserve - $200 + trophy

Overall 3rd Place - $100 + trophy

Peoples Choice Prize

Grand Prize- $300 + trophy

(prize amounts subject to change based on the number of teams competing. 1st place prizes are guaranteed amounts)

 

The Hometown Division is an option for any teams that may not be regular touring competition teams and want to compete in this event.

Friday March 17th cooking setup begins as early as 7AM.  Approved overnight stays are allowed on a request basis.
  All new Craft Beer Tasting and our Irish Block party featuring Irish and Class Rock bands, Irish food, Irish Drink Specials, Green Beer, plus, a cornhole tournament hosted by Cornhole Junkies with cash prizes! 

Live music Friday night by Mt Dora Pipes and Drums starts at 4PM. Followed by Hypersona. These guys rock the 80's and 90's! You don't want to miss them.

Saturday is our 10th Chili Cook-off and BBQ Competition!

Don't want to compete? Come out and be a judge! Plus, don't miss the chili contest, lots of great food cooked by your Central Florida Firefighters & volunteers, live music, cash bar, cold drinks, vendors, fire trucks, t-shirts, raffles, prizes and much more! Meet your local area firefighters & emergency workers.

This is a charity benefit for the  Firefighter's Charity of Central Florida, a local non-profit organization and helps support the many community programs conducted through out the year. This fund raiser helps raise money for the Florian Foundation Fund - a fund to help local firefighters facing cancer, PTSD and other major medical issues and our local school culinary programs.

Think you have great chili?! Come compete in the 10th Firefighter Charity Chili Cookoff at Gator Harley!  We are accepting cooking teams, vendors, and sponsors. All our teams will be judged by the people. An open division comprised of business, organizations, and individuals will be judged by the people as well by our judges.

Cooking setup begins at 7AM or earlier

The open division competes for cash & trophy prizes worth $1,000!

Registration fees - $50 for all organizations/companies or individuals

Non-profits and public safety organizations are free entry up to November 15th.
