About the event

The 8th Charity Chili Cookoff & BBQ Competition is a fund raiser hosted by the Firefighter's Charity of Lake County. This fund raiser helps fund our Florian Fund. This fund provides financial assistance to local firefighters enduring catastrophic crisis such as PTSD and cancer treatments. We are pleased to announce we are approved as a Backyard Cooker Florida BBQ Association sanctioned event. This year we have added a HomeTown cooking division for those teams that may not compete ona  regular basis.

This expanded two day event features a Youth Competition and Special Surprise Cook on Friday evening with free concerts. The fun continues Saturday morning with $3 Bloody Marys and Breakfast sandwiches and then really heats up with our Chili Cookoff starting that morning and our main BBQ competition in the afternoon. Live music all day with great grilled food, full liquor bars, firetrucks,  hot motorcycles, kids play area, and much more!

The BBQ competition is limited to 30 teams. The chili competition is limited to 30 teams. Sign up early to ensure your space.
