OUR NEW PINK FIRETRUCK
The Pink Fire Truck is one of Central Florida's very first Pink Fire Trucks. The decommissioned firetruck was donated to the charity from the Lake County Public Safety Department in 2013. In 2021, we introduced a new retired truck to serve all of Central Florida.
The purpose of the Pink Fire Truck is to honor the women of our community. It serves as a mobile tribute to those that have battled cancer and provides awareness to everyone in the community.
October 2021, the new Pink FIre Truck is being named after a cancer survivor. Each year in October, the truck will be named after a special woman that has overcome cancer and will proudly carry her name on the truck throughout the year.
This October, the truck is being named Mary. Mary's breast cancer was detected through a mammogram at Advent Health Waterman and was able to start treatment and overcome cancer. Read Mary's story here
The Pink Fire Truck is available for FREE year round for community events. The truck is in high demand and is scheduled as requests come in.
The truck is offered free to our community, however, it is very costly to operate and maintenance. We rely on donations and sponsors to keep the truck in service. As a thank you to our sponsors, we proudly display their logo on the truck for a period of one year. If you are interested in being a sponsor, we are always accepting sponsors. Sponsorships start at only $150 for a one year sponsorship.
